You will receive 40 deals inside the file
PODELE.TPS , part of the PAIRSCORE
(V2.7) program . Using this file will make the printing of the prepared deals very easy. (it is basicly the same as last year)
You’ll also receive the deals in condensed HTML and expanded HTML format and in
DUP format as well.
You must not have two pairs with the same ID number.
For Mittchell movements, we suggest to assign to NS pairs the number of table they are playing at, while for EW pairs to add 10 to the number of the table (or 20 if you have more than 10 tables).
(Example 1 - seven tables : NS 7 will have ID= 7, EW7 will have ID=17)
(Example 2- seventeen tables : NS 7 will have ID= 7, EW7 will have ID=27).
During the play there is no need for this – keep NW1 and EW1, but while proceeding results unique ID number is OBLIGATORY.
If you play more sessions in Your club, calculate them as one. Take care that the players don’t change their positions (ID numbers ) during different sessions. Our suggestion is to play only one session.
If all pairs have played a wrongly prepared board, don’t send us results of the mentioned board (you can use these results only for your club account ). If you notice an error earlier follow the following next rules:
If the board was wrongly prepared during round one or the cards have wrongly been returned into the board during the competition the result should be adapted as follows:
40% for the guilty pair (or for both) , 60% for the innocent pair. If the error has been noticed at the next table all the pairs who haven’t noticed the error get 40%, the pair who has noticed the error gets 60%. The result is not valid, board must be corrected and the tournament
continues. If the error is noticed in a later phase the board can be cancelled by the club organizer.
If the board was earlier prepared the possible error must be noticed after the first round. The organizer has to warn the players to compare their cards with the cards in the score sheet. If an error exists the result should be adapted. The pair who has noticed the error gets 60%, the pairs who haven’t, get 40%. After noticed error, the board has to be prepared correctly and the competition continues.
While entering names, surnames, club details, city and country states, use only letters of the English alphabet (usual font and format ) so that competitors from different countries could read it. We also ask You to use capital letters for the first letter of names, surnames, cities, countries, club details. The other letters should be small (lower case).
Keep in mind that all results will be published on the Internet. Name of players, clubs, towns and Countries will appear exactly like You enter it.
You have to use the program PAIRSCORE (V2.7) freeware software for processing the results. We ask You kindly to correctly enter club name, pairs’ names and results. They’ll be displayed as entered. We also ask You to enter correctly level and suit of played contract, declarer, lead (attack), number of overtricks/undertricks. After entering the results, it is necessary to send three following files – CLUBS.TPS , PAIRS.TPS , RESULTS.TPS to our E-mail : odule@ravangrad.net or odule@so.sbb.co.yu Your contribution is invaluable. Following the mentioned regulations and advices will assure fast accounting and getting the final score.
Send us the results as soon as possible and no later than 12.00 (CET) on Sunday , 01.04.2007.
If You had informed us about taking part at the tournament BUT cannot play, please inform us before the deadline.
If You are not able to use our score-program send us the results in any other form ( txt, doc, xls, ... ) but don’t forget all necessary facts : club-name, city, state, name and surname of all pairs, board- results ( contract, lead, declarer,
overtricks-undertricks... ). Former experience taught us that errors could occur, especially if You don’t use our scoring program. Our suggestion - send us the results as soon as
