Regulations for The Seventh Easter
Simultaneous Pairs Tournament
None. Everybody can play with us for free.
Every club plays at its own venue. Tournament must be played between 24th and 30th March of 2007. Every club will choose the day that suits them most. (If two or more clubs from each town decide to take participations on this event, than be very kindly from them to play at same day.)
40 deals will be randomly generated and sent to the club organizer by e-mail a few days before the tournament.
Only boards actually played by every pair will be included in scoring. For aggregating the top scores on each board the Nouberg formula will be used.
Minimum number of boards to be played by every pair is 20. Pairs who play less than this will not be included in the general standings, although their results will be included for calculations of Match Points.
You can use any movement system – choose that one that you find most convenient.
To enter results, if You are keen to help us, please use a special software program PairScore(V2.7) which You can download from here, or it will be sent to you by e-mail.
Results must be sent to us by 12.00 (noon) on Sunday 01st April 2007.
Clubs that finish their play and send their results will be sent regular updates of general standings. The final results of the The Seventh Easter Simultaneous Pairs Tournament will be published on the afternoon of sunday 01st April 2007.
